Best Practices
Vector Files Preferred
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) provide the best quality and can scale to any size without losing clarity.
High Resolution Images
If using raster files (PNG, JPG), ensure they're at least 300 DPI at the final print size.
Convert Text to Outlines
Convert all text to outlines/paths to avoid font substitution issues.
Color Mode Matters
Use Pantone (PMS) colors for screen printing. RGB and CMYK will be converted and may shift slightly.
Avoid Gradients in Screen Print
Gradients don't translate well to screen printing. Use solid colors or halftone patterns instead.
Simplify Complex Designs
Highly detailed designs may not reproduce well. Simplify for best results.

Embroidery-Specific Guidelines
Stitch Count Matters
Designs are priced by stitch count. Simpler designs = lower costs. We can help optimize your design to reduce stitches while maintaining quality.
Avoid Fine Details
Very small text (under 0.25") and intricate details may not embroider clearly. Bold, simple designs work best.
Digitizing Required
We'll convert your artwork to an embroidery file (DST). One-time digitizing fee applies for new designs.
